Founded in 1964 by Olidas and Marguerite Dupont, this family business in the Montérégie was known until 1986 as "Garage Olidas Dupont".

In 1990, the name "MGO Dupont inc. "Makes it's appearance, the father give the company to is son. For more than 50 years, the entrepreneurial culture has remained that of a dedicated and quality service coupled with a constant technological evolution.

The Evolution

11960

The beginnings of a dream and a passion, Olidas Dupont rented a mechanical workshop in Pike-River in the early '60s.

21964

The dream is realized at Stanbridge-Station, Olidas and his wife Marguerite establish a mechanical workshop with two working bays which takes the name of "Garage Olidas Dupont enr.". Remember, at the time gasoline cost about 6 cents a gallon and a big American luxury Sedan was less than $ 3,000.

31964

First wrecker assembled by Olidas. Heavy tow trucks will soon be added. It was the time when they needed chains so heavy that they dragged you to the bottom of the ditch!

41990

The name becomes "Garage MGO Dupont Inc.", the father passing the torch to his sons.

51990

Garage MGO Dupont is proud to become a CAA-Quebec affiliate station.

61993

Comprehensive computerization of garage operation, including reference parts and books, would allow for more efficient management and more accurate diagnostics.

The Professional Association of Troubleshooting Quebec (APDEQ) is born and we are as a member!

For environmental reasons, we become Green Key Certified.

Celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of MGO Dupont Inc., a proud family business in the Montérégie region.

As a recommended garage, we are proud to meet the high standards of quality required by CAA-Quebec.

The garage passes from 2 to 6 work bays accommodating cars and trucks.

An ever-expanding fleet of tow trucks, platforms, trailers and service vehicles, all serving all types of vehicles on the road.
